1. Do all operations that are in parentheses first.
2. Multiply and divide left to right.
3. Add and subtract left to right.

Example: 3+(2+4)x5
1. Do (2+4) first.
2. Multiply that answer by 5.
3. Lastly, add that answer to 3.
