Beaver, but White Fang sensed the meanness of Beauty and refused to be taken away. Beauty came to fetch White Fang, and White Fang leaped in attack. Beauty was ready. He struck hard with a club and smashed White Fang to the ground. 'rhree times White Fang escaped and three times Beauty found him. Each time White Fang was beaten till near death."
White Fang, son of a dog and a wolf, was born and raised in the frozen Alaskan wastelands.
White Fan learned to live in the wild where "life lived on life". He was mistreated at the hands
of the Indians and a iew whte men until e was truly a beast and hated the looks of man. It wasn't until Weedon Scott found White Fang in a dog fight with the bulldog, "Cherokee", that White Fang realized some humans could be patient and affectionate. Weedon became Whlte Fang's master and took him to California to live in civiliation. At first Whlte Fang was not trusted, but soon he became loved by the whole town due to his bravery in saving the life of his master. It is a story of a rugged, blood-thirsty life in the wilds.
