The best known antibiotic is penicillin. Antibiotic drugs come from living organisms such as mold. Anti- biotics keep germs from growing.
Several medical questions are still unanswered. For instance, although we have the wonder drugs, there is still no drug that can prevent the common cold. Also, new drugs need to be developed all the time, because our bodies build up a resistance to drugs after a period
of use.
