The purpose of this reading inventory is to return a test score that directly correlates to the reading level of the student being tested. Read the following selection and answer as many questions as possible in 3 minutes! At the completion of the test, match the test score with the appropriate grade level listed at the bottom of the page. Then, they wove baskets out of these strips which they had colored by using roots and bark. When winter came the snow nearly covered their tent. Mr. Wood told them that they might stay in his barn. In the spring they started off to sell the baskets which they had made. Before they left the farm they gave Mr. Wood several baskets in return for his kindness. 1.
