Each spelling list has a corresponding spelling test. For example, a "Level 6 Word List" will have a "Level 6 Test" with the same words. Level 6 also has a word search that goes along with each word list and test. The spelling tests have a sound feature that allows the student to hear each spelling word. The student reads the sentence, clicks on the word choice, and listens to how the spelling word is used in context. The student then types the word in the text box provided, and presses the return key. The program checks to see if the word has been spelled correctly, and let's the student know if their spelling attempt is correct or incorrect. Their score is displayed at the bottom of each test. Download and install the VLC Media Player if you have any problems playing and hearing the sound files provided in the spelling tests.  |
